Once upon a time I was 18. I wrote a song called "Christmas,” which verily I played with my friend Chris Toppin in our Boston band the Myrtles. Yea her next band Fuzzy covered "Christmas" on their record, and this begat the Posies’ version of "Christmas" for a Geffen compilation called Just Say Noel. It was then that streaming services came forth, and Continental Airlines saw fit to play my song. I received my check for four cents and lo, “Christmas" merch was born.
